Puritan Backroom Best in Manchester

The Puritan Backroom has again won several "Best of Manchester" honors in the annual Hippo Press readers survey released in the March 20-26, 2008 issue. The Puritan Backroom was voted "Best Restaurant Overall" by Hippo readers, while the Puritan's famous chicken tenders were rated "Best Menu Item" as well as "Best Chicken Tenders". The Puritan Backroom also garnered the "Best Cocktail - Mudslide "award by Hippo readers. Once again, the Puritan ice cream--homemade since 1917--took home the top honor in the "Best Ice Cream" category in Manchester.
